The NFL has reduced the fines to Atlanta Dunt Robinson and the New England Brandon Meriweather, both cited for flagrant hits against the host defense.

Robinson's fine was reduced by the agent of the League of Appeal, Ted Cottrell, $ 50,000 to $ 25,000. Meriweather has increased from $ 50,000 to $ 40,000.

Robinson hit on wide receiver DeSean Jackson Philadelphia back with two concussions, and Meriweather took a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness after hitting Baltimore tight end Todd Heap in the head.

Cottrell previously reduced the fine levied against the Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison for his hit Browns wing Mohamed Massaquoi.

All three were fine to play Oct. 17

The league has announced several new fines Friday, including one in Tennessee right tackle David Stewart, who was hit for $ 20,000 for unnecessary roughness after hitting a player from Kansas City "end and far from playing in two separate cases," on Sunday .
