| JENNY HUMPHREY BACKSTORY | | Jennifer Tallulah "Jenny" Humphrey is the daughter of rocker Rufus Humphrey and the younger sister of Dan Humphrey. Her mother, Alison Humphrey, left them temporarily to fulfill her dream of becoming an artist. Jenny attended Constance Billard School for Girls. She became best friends with Eric Vanderwoodsen in season 1. She met him through her brother,Dan who dated Serena, Eric's sister. Throughout the seasons, you see Jenny struggle and go back and forth between wanting to be popular and wanting to be invisible. The Upper East Side is a bad example on her and changes her and makes her bitchy, and scheming, and gets to her head. She starts off sweet, gets affected, becomes even sweeter, and then midway through the third season our Little J is lost for good. She becomes bitter and at times downright evil. She has recently shown signs of the old her again. After a scheme she pulled on Serena, with the Help of Vanessa and Juliet, Jenny felt bad and came clean to Blair. Jenny had betrayed every single one of her friends.She tried to steal Serena's boyfriend, Nate (Serena was nothing but nice to Jenny), slept with Blair's boyfriend Chuck, Hooked up with the guy Vanessa was in love with(nate), and embarrassed Vanessa in front of the whole school with a see through dress, she sent a pic to gossip girl of Dan And Serena, ruining his relationship with Vanessa, then tried to hurt Dan and Serena's relationship by making Dan think Serena wanted Nate too. She also betrayed Eric, by dating his boyfriend, Asher and then breaking him up with his other boyfriend, Johnathon. She betrayed Nate by lying to him about Serena,and betrayed Chuck by telling everyone she slept with him.She betrayed her father by trying to ruin his marriage.After all that though, sometimes it is kind of impossible not to love Jenny. Because bitchy as she may be,she's kind of badass, and truly does have a good heart and the best intentions. Nate Archibald and Damien Delgaard are the two guys she ever really liked, but if you watch through the seasons you will see that Nate, has always been the guy she loved. He makes her a better person, and hopefully they will finally get the chance to be together. He always has cared about her and looked out for her, and he looks at her differently then he's ever looked at anyone else/ | |
