I Will Always Love You is the twelfth installment of the original Gossip Girl series (which features the main cast) created by Cecily von Ziegesar . It will be out Nov.2009.
Plot I Will Always Love You will center on the return of the original cast of characters, including Blair Waldorf, Nate Archibald, Serena van der Woodsen, and Chuck Bass. Jenny Humphrey, once a main character within the novels, is not expected to return, as she resides at Waverly Academy in her own spin-off series, The It Girl. The novel will be from Blair's point of view.

Uncertainties/contradictions

To date, it is uncertain whether or not this new installment has been ghostwritten or if Cecily Von Ziegesar wrote it herself. Furthermore, it is known that the Carlyle triplets live in Blair's ex-penthouse, leaving her living arrangements uncertain. It is also uncertain if the story will be a new beginning for Blair, Nate, and Serena or just a one-time revival. As stated in Don't You Forget About Me, Serena had never left Manhattan after graduation while in Gossip Girl: The Carlyles, Chuck had never left Manhattan to go to military school. These two plot lines further contradicts the advertisement. Advertisements have yet to reveal whether or not Daniel Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams will return.
