CW Synopsis
Full Episode Synopsis
In retaliation for not playing by the unspoken rules of Constance Billard, Blair (Leighton Meester) hatches a plan to bring down her teacher, Rachel (guest star Laura Breckenridge), and it's going to be good. After Chuck (Ed Westwick) wakes up in a hotel and only has a minor recollection of what happened the previous evening and who he spent the evening with, Nate (Chace Crawford) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) try to help him fill in the missing pieces of what is turning out to be an increasingly intriguing mystery. Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. This week's episode starts with Blair (read: Dorota) fulfilling the terms of her detention by picking up garbage in Central Park. When her dad stops by, she quickly plays the martyr. Later at Constance, Blair tries to rally the mean girls for a take-down of Miss Carr but they are reluctant to help, even after Blair gives an inspiring speech about how what they do will echo througout eternity. Just then, they announce a rule banning cell phones at school with Miss Carr at the helm. The girls band together to take her down.

Before school, Serena stops by the restaurant Miss Carr is known to have breakfast at to drop off her extra credit essay. Why she didn't just wait to give it to her at school? Who knows. Anyway, walks in to find Dan eating with Miss Carr and discussing his stories. Dan and Serena haven't talked much lately, since they got in the tiff about Yale and since their parents are openly dating. They share an awkward exchange, and Dan leaves. Serena then asks for an extension on her assignment and leaves.

Chuck wakes up to find a strange symbol stamped on his wrist and faint, blurry memories of a masquerade party and making out with a hot woman. When Nate doesn't have any answers for him, he decides to find some of his own. He gets Nate and Vanessa to come with him to the address written on an invitation he received the night before. The show up at an address expecting to find "the ultimate private gentleman's club" and this beautiful woman whose name Chuck can't remember, but they just end up in mansion. Chuck sees a photo on the piano of a woman with a baby and recognizes her from the night before. She assumes it must be the mom but calls the realitor and finds out she is the nanny. Chuck throws his weight around to get the phone number of the people that own the home, and finds out her name is Elle. He also leaves a message for her with his name and info.

Blair and the girls use Dorota to get their phones back but they still can't dig up any dirt on Miss Carr. Blair instructs them to make something up and when they can't she takes matters into her own hands. She sees Dan talking to Miss Carr in the hallway and sends an alert to Gossip Girl, implying that there was something going on between them.

Jenny confronts Dan with the news (he's always the last to know about GG posts, isn't he?) and he denies it. Serena asks him about it too and when he tells her there is nothing going on between him and Miss Carr, Rachel, she believes him. Serena figures out that it must be Blair that made up the story and Dan confronts Blair, but to no avail. Serena then meets up with Rachel and when she asks her why it seems like everyone is staring at her, Serena explains Gossip Girl.

Blair gets called into the head mistress's office when a student (Dan) told on Blair, and then the information was confirmed by another student (Nelly Uki). They said they have always known about GG, but it was never an issue since before it was just about students and the students never complained. But this time it was a serious accusation about a teacher, and Blair is, gulp, expelled.

Blair's dad is having no luck getting her back in to Constance so he asks her point blank if she slandered Miss Carr. B is the queen of playing the innocent party and she bats her eyelashes and admits that she sent the tip to GG, but that it was true. And her dad tells her she can't be punished for telling the truth...yikes!

Rufus tells Dan that the parent's have called an emergency meeting to discuss the incident and asks him if there is anything he wants to tell him...but he says no.

Somehow not at all involved in any of this Constance mess, Chuck meets up with Elle. She tells him the invitation wasn't supposed to be for him, it was for his dad as she sent it before realizing he was dead. She reveals she drugged him so he wouldn't remember anything from the night. She tells him his father belonged to some type of secret group, but is very evasive with the details. Almost frantically she tells him to stop looking for her.

Serena tries to convince Rachel to tell the head mistress to try to allow B back into school but she refuses, accidentally leaving her planner behind. Rachel then goes to meet Dan at the coffee shop and she thanks him for being a friend to her. She starts crying and he comforts her by lovingly stroking her hair behind her ears. Serena, having come to drop off Rachel's planner, witnesses this through the window, takes a picture with her phone, and walks away. She then heads to Blair's to tell her that she was right. She shows B the incriminating picture and they head to the meeting. Serena texts Dan to meet her at the meeting.

At the meeting, the parents are discussing what to do about Gossip Girl, and Blair storms in and shows the photo, causing quite the uproar. Rachel tells Dan that they fired her. Blair is pleased that she is back into Constance and within earshot of her father says that although it may not have been true, at least she is safe. Her father sends her home with the driver, clearly very disappointed in her. The next day he tells her that he saw a side of her he didn't like and he is worried. He says that it matters to him less what college she gets into than what type of person she becomes.

After the meeting, Dan confronts Serena about why she was so quick to believe the worst in him, and it leads to a conversation that leads to their break up, mutual and amicable.

Chuck goes to Bart's safe to look for clues about this group he belonged to and he gets a call from the family Elle nanny's for saying she never made it back to Greenwich last night.

The next morning, Dan finds out that Rufus voted to fire Rachel and feeling very guilty, he heads out to make it right. Meanwhile, Serena is already over at Rachel's, returning her planner and confessing that she was the one that gave Blair the photo. She tries to apologize but Rachel asks her to leave. When Dan stops by Rachel's a little bit later, within moments they start making out and when Dan questions what she is doing, she responds that she no longer works for Constance. Then she pulls him into her bedroom and they go straight for the bed, tearing their clothes off.

Meanwhile, the head mistress realizes Rachel could sue the school for wrongful termination and in order to avoid a scandal, she calls her to tell her she can have her job back for this semester. Only Rachel misses the call...cause she is busy elsewhere...
