■ THERE MIGHT BE BLOOD SYNOPSIS
CW Synopsis
Full Episode Synopsis
Serena (Blake Lively) invites Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori) to be her guest at a charity gala honoring Lily and Bart (Kelly Rutherford and guest star Robert John Burke), but after discovering a secret that Aaron has been keeping from her she begins to question whether Aaron is the guy she thought he was. Hoping it will help her chances of getting into Yale, Blair (Leighton Meester) naively agrees to babysit the 15-year-old daughter of a prominent Yale donor, but the teenager proves to be more than a handful and Blair begins to suspect that the evening may actually wind up hurting her chances of getting into the college of her dreams. Meanwhile, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) and Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) plan a guerilla fashion show that will either launch Jenny's star or ruin her chances of ever being accepted by the industry. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Matthew Settle also star. This episode opens up with Jenny and Agnes plotting to debut their new fashion line (which we later learn they plan to do by hijacking a party in Lily Bass's honor and having a guerilla fashion show.) Nate and Jenny still haven't talked since the liplock and both want to know what the other one is thinking.

Dan is freaking out about getting his story read by professors in typical Dan overly obsessive fashion. Blair and Serena meet with some Yale donors and when they seem only interested in Serena, S offers B's services as babysitter for the evening for their daughter, Emma. Blair quickly learns that this girl is not the sweet, innocent little girl her parents think she is, when she tells Blair about her plan to lose her virginity that night (before one of her friends does). B & S convince her to go to the gala with them in order to keep an eye on her...until she talks to Chuck who tells her the party is lame. She has read about Chuck on GG so of course, she hits on him and he is all too eager to oblige. She all but throws herself at him in his limo.

S meets up with Aaron and while she is asking him to come to Lily's gala, a girl walks up to Aaron and kisses him, confirming S's suspicions about him. Later he sends her a licorice ring like the one they got "married" with when they were 8 at day camp.

Dan and Nate bust Jenny and Agnes walking out the door and it is clear they are not just going to have a fun girls night in. She has to come clean about everything and begs him for a few hours before he tells Rufus. While weighing the options with Vanessa, Rufus overhears them and they head back to the loft just as Nate is pulling away with Jenny and Agnes.

When B and S finally get a hold of Chuck, he tells them how Emma demanded he deflower her, and when he wouldn't, she took off. S got word that Emma is at a bar, and they all head over to try to find her, but when they do she is leaving with a gross guy, Serg. B then blames S for ruining, yet again, her chances of getting in to Yale. By an amazing stroke of luck, B catches Emma's mom canoodling with a man (not her husband), and takes a pic. S convinces B to find Emma before she blackmails her mom, and then heads off to the gala. Chuck and Blair then go to Serg's house to find Emma and show her gossip girl, where it says that her friend Muffy (who she was trying to lose her virginity before) has already lost hers. Emma is furious and leaves with Blair.

Over at the gala, Jenny convinces Nate to stay and he rescues her in front of Lily Bass. Then they share another kiss, and of course, someone manages to get a shot of them. How did the Upper East Side ever function without camera phones? Of course the Rufus/Dan/Vanessa trio catch wind of it and its pretty clear that Vanessa still harbors feelings for Nate. Dan and Vanessa argue about whether Nate is a good guy, and they don't really come up with a definitive answer. When they arrive at the party, Rufus and Lily have their usual we-used-to-be-in-love awkward exchange. When Dan sees Nate they fight, and Dan kicks Nate out of the house.

Serena decides to give Aaron another try and when she calls him his outgoing message recording is dedicated to her. Flattered she starts to leave a message, but then a girl picks up, and she is back to where she started with him.

Just as the host is getting ready to honor Bart and Lily, the lights go out, the music is turned up, and photos of Jenny, Agnes and friends take over the screen. The guerilla fashion show has begun. Models climb up on the stage and throw informational polariods all around the place. Everyone seems to be getting into it, even the adults, and Nate and Jenny get caught up in the moment and kiss again. Vanessa sees this and storms off. Jenny is looking for Vanessa and when Rufus starts to yell at her about how disappointed he is and tried to get her arrested, but Lily comes to her rescue.

Blair gives Emma some older sister type advice about when to lose her virginity. Blair admits that her first time was with someone she loved (Chuck!). Blair and Emma bond over distracted mothers and they make up. When they get upstairs, Emma's mom acts like a bee-yotch to both of them and just as Blair gets ready to show her the photo, she decides to instead give her some advice: that her daughter is a great girl and she needs to realize that before its too late.

Dan gets his call from Jordan from Yale finally and apparently, as he suspected, it didn't go well. He runs into Serena and says he is a little frustrated that Jenny does whatever she can to get what she wants, and it pays off for her, whereas he takes the moral high ground, and probably won't get into Yale for it. Then he stays up all night finishing the article he wrote about Chuck Bass that he previously said he couldn't write. When Rufus starts to lecture him, he discovers that little J has moved out and is seen wandering down the street. Nate mails a love letter to Jenny.

Blair gets a call from the Dean at Yale. Emma told her "uncle" that the one person living or dead that she would like to have dinner with is Blair Waldorf, and he said it looks like she is Yale material after all.

Aaron tries one more time with Serena and this time he convinces her to have dinner with him. Oh, and that she should not eat the licorice ring, since it's 9 years old. How sweet (and kinda disgusting!)
