| Jenny (Taylor Momsen) befriends a young model, Agnes (guest star Willa Holland), who encourages Jenny to not only explore her wild side, but also confront her boss, Eleanor Waldorf (guest star Margaret Colin), who is attempting to "borrow" Jenny’s designs. Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) agree to attend an art opening at Rufus' (Matthew Settle) gallery as friends, but the outing gets a little uncomfortable after Serena meets an artist, Aaron Rose (guest star John Patrick Amedori), and realizes they have an instant chemistry. Blair (Leighton Meester) attempts to seduce Chuck (Ed Westwick), but it proves tougher than she ever imagined. Chace Crawford and Jessica Szohr also star. | This episode starts out with a steamy dream scene of Blair and, you guessed it, Chuck. When she doesn't want to get up for breakfast, Dorota kindly reminds her that "God is watching". Ha ha ha. Later they run into each other on the street and Chuck continues to taunt Blair to try to make her say "I love you". Over in Brooklyn, Jenny is crazy busy at work for Eleanor Waldorf. She accidentally bumps into Nate (who is living at the loft) presumably naked in the bathroom...they share and awkward/flirty exchange. Agnes, Jenny's new model friend predicts that Nate has a crush on Jenny, but she denies it. Eleanor tells Jenny that they buyers like a dress she made, and she would like to show it to them. She asks her to make a new dress in one night, and if she does she will be allowed to sit in on Barney's and Bendel's meetings. At school, Serena and Dan have decided to try to be friends again. S ropes in Dan to get a man's opinion on Blair's Chuck problem....how to get Chuck to sleep with her without her having to tell him she loves him. Dan encourages her to make herself unavoidable and wear him down and she goes for it. Blair pulls out all the stops at a bar but Chuck manages to avoid the trap and humiliate B for throwing herself at him. Serena goes by Rufus's art gallery and runs into a new artist, Aaron, and they instantly hit it off. They continue flirting until Dan comes by and makes Serena leave with him. She is sure to mention to Aaron that they are not dating. Vanessa gives Dan a hard time for his new found friendship with Blair, but he continues to give her advice about Chuck...telling her to stick with the original plan of seducing him until he caves. She tries to seduce him in Serena's room but just as they start to get it on, she gets a text from Serena causing Chuck to come to his senses. Blair confesses to Dan that she loves Chuck, but telling him that would be letting him win, which is not something she is willing to do. Meanwhile, Jenny is supposed to be recreating her dress for tomorrow's meetings but instead she is at a bar with her cool new friend Agnes, who makes little J switch outfits with her so that she can wear the dress that Jenny was wearing that she designed. Agnes and her photographer friend Max leave before Jenny gets the chance to get her dress back. When she finally does meet back up with Agnes, Agnes encourages Jenny not to give her designs over to Eleanor. Later, Eleanor tells Jenny that she knows she was out a bar last night and will not be allowed in the buyers meetings after all, Jenny blows up at her and accuses her of using her for her designs. When Jenny takes the green dress from the fashion show home with her, Eleanor makes it clear that she is fired. Blair decides she wants Chuck so bad she might even be willing to tell him she loves him and she tells him to meet her at the gallery opening. Vanessa tells Dan about Blair and Chuck using her in their bet and Dan regrets ever thinking Blair was human. Just before Blair is ready to tell Chuck that she loves him, Dan stops her and tells her not to, sabotaging the plan and his previous advice. Then on the roof, B chickens out and they get into a fight. For not being a huge schemer, Dan's scheme worked like clock work. When he tells Serena what he did, she reams him out because she trusted Dan to give Blair good advice. Aaron asks S out but she declines, presumably for Dan's sake. Aaron says he will give her another chance, if she can tell him the fate of Cecil the Caterpillar. Serena doesn't get it but seems intrigued. Agnes tells Jenny that a magazine wants to do a piece on her as a "Designer to watch" and encourages her to start her own clothing line. Nate says he wants to spend some time with Jenny but she tells him she is heading out to a party with her new friends. Jenny finds herself in a little over her head when they end up at Max's house and he starts taking pictures of the girls. At first little J is hestiant, but with a little goading from Agnes, they both start dancing/posing for the camera. Nate walks in and busts Jenny with her shirt off. Nate says he is not leaving without Jenny. Dan tries to make nice with Serena and they decide that if they are going to be able to be friends, they have to be honest with each other. S then tells him that Aaron asked her out, and that she wants to go out with him. It then dawns on her that she and Aaron when to summer camp together in Switzerland and they got married in a little faux ceremony. Dan tells S she has his permission to go out with him. When Serena rushes back to find Aaron and tell him she knows the fate of Cecil the Caterpillar, she sees him speeding off on a motorcycle with another girl. Chuck comes to see Blair and tells her that while they might in fact love each other, they can't say it because when they do they will be just like any other normal couple and have to stop playing the power game. They decide to wait and maybe in the future they can get together. On the way home, Jenny yells at Nate for making her leave the party. She asks him why he cares so much about what she does, and they kiss. And when she pulls away, he grabs her back to him. Guess Agnes was right about Nate's feelings for Little J. |
