- Dorota: (to Blair) You have bad dream and you're sleeping with your chocolate.
- Serena: (after the champagne at school incident) You're right, Mom. This morning I woke up feeling a little uneasy and thought to myself "Hmm, maybe I'll call the entire junior class out to the courtyard for a little champagne toast".
- Serena: Can you just get it over with Chuck? Say whatever pervy thing you're going say and leave.
- Lily: (to Serena) Don't leave your dirty package on the table.
- Rufus: (to Dan) Hey, whenever you are done with that "I'd do things differently" look, two things...

CW Synopsis
| Full Episode Synopsis
| | Having been recently dethroned as Queen Bee in the last episode by Gossip Girl, with an assist from scheming "little J" (Taylor Momsen), Blair (Leighton Meester) hesitantly returns to school with the support of her BFF, Serena (Blake Lively). Meanwhile, Serena struggles to adjust to her new living arrangements with her future step-brother, Chuck (Ed Westwick), while receiving disturbing packages from an unknown sender. Jenny's drive to be popular hits an all-new time high when she does something illegal to fit in with her new Upper East Side friends. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. | Seems like Blair has been spending Spring Break at home, apparently kind of busy moping around and eating chocolate. They say time goes by fast and, in fact, the second semester was about to get started and, thanks to Serena's wise pep talks, Blair understands it's time for her to face the world. Well, it turns out that the world was not that eager to welcome her with open arms. As soon as our former Queen B. made her way to school, all students started whispering, while Chuck and Nate didn't even want to talk to her. However, Blair did get a special welcome back gift, after all. As harsh as it might sound, Jenny, Hazel and the other girls greeted her by throwing some yogurt right over her precious headband. That was definitely enough: Blair stormed into school. Due to Bart's proposal, the Basses and the van der Woodsens have become a new, big family, living under the very same roof. To Serena's utter shock, actually. The girl did not seem to bear Chuck's witty banter, especially because she has been receiving weird gifts, such as boxes of champagne, hand-cuffs and... cocaine. Serena was positive that the anonymous 'giver' must have been none other than her soon-to-be sibling. After inviting Blair to meet at Butter, Jenny and the other girls aka The A-List, stood her up. Of course, it wouldn't be Blair Waldorf, if she didn't set up a plan in hopes of ruining Little J. In the end she decides to talk Rufus into throwing the worst party ever for Jenny's birthday. Speaking of Jenny, she did steal a Valentino dress from... horror of horrors... a member of The A-List. Dan and Nate had been trying to make her understand that she wasn't supposed to become like the girls of The A-List but the girl didn't seem eager to be lectured. Despite her trying to make things right, Jenny seems stuck with the stolen Valentino and her friend do walk in on her wearing that dress. Ouch. Meanwhile, Serena receives a letter from Georgina who was the real person into sending her all those presents. Serena goes to apologize to Chuck, but Chuck has already been kicked out for something he didn't commit. Blair is at Butter alone until her ex-friends show up. Unfortunately, as soon as Blair goes to get a drink, Jenny shows up with Nate. They all start talking and enjoying. Yep, to Blair's disbelief, it seems like The A-List has forgiven Jenny. Blair can't do anything but leave. Little J might have won this one, after all. |
